A good memory and a new start!

David and I have some friends that have trouble remembering our obscure blog name, so we have a new address. Hopefully it isn't too difficult for you all to remember!

http://thunsaker.blogspot.com

The video is from this last spring when the kids and I were still in Utah. It is funny just to watch how they interact with the world around them!
See you at our new address.

{Lets Hear it for the Girls!}

So my sister Breanna is truly amazing! On top of being really good, she always has her camera and saves me when I forget mine. I recently discovered that she has a blog and truth be told all these pics in this post are hers. Some of the pics at her blog are business but others are ones I just love from her "portfolio work"! And, . . . KATELIN my other sister, WOW!!! when did you grow up? Quite the "looker"! Don't all you, (my dedicated readers) wish you were in my family! She recently graduated from High School and I couldn't be more proud! She has always stuck by her morals and remained true to herself. Later this year she will begin college, and I can't wait to see how she likes it. I hope nothing but the best for her except maybe a few hot dates from some cute boys! Love you Katie! Love you Bree! I am proud to be your big sister!

And to some of my other "girls"...Happy Birthday!

{Happy Mother's Day!}

Mom!
Just a note to say that I love you! How grateful am I to you for all the countless prayers and angels you send my way! I am all that I am, and I know all that I know because of the things you have taught me, and the example that you have set! Anastasia, Ereland, and Cardin are so lucky to have a Grandma like you!

Colleen,
How appreciative I am to you (and to Dave too) for raising and teaching you son the things that you have! I feel blessed to be part of your family and to have been able to stay with you and Dave for this period of time! THANK YOU!

For all my other sisters and mothers! We love you!

{Picture Perfect}

Most people who know me know that I have a fettish with dressing up my children as if it were picture day every day! I am not sure when I developed this MONK like attribute, but it makes for really good photos for this very sort of thing! These are just a few of my favorites in the last year! I can't believe how fast time passes when you are busy! The girls and I have been downstairs guests at Dave and Colleen's for 9 months now! Ereland especially has grown up quite a bit! We can't wait to get back with Daddy....and Husband!

{Baby its a BOY!}

"Mom you don't have the baby in your belly anymore! You pushed him out!"
~ Anastasia
That's about right! Cardin Finn Hunsaker is finally here. It is interesting to find out who is praying the hardest, and most of the time I think between my mother and my Grandma Bush, they win hands down. I am sure that when Grandma Bush calls the temple they already know to put our names on the prayer roll. But I APPRECIATE it! Cardin had to be a scheduled birth due to my hectic school testing schedule, and more importantly because David was still living his single bachelor lifestyle in New York. I was dialated to a two for 2 1/2 weeks and then dialated to a three and 80% effaced for a week, two weeks before the original due date of April 30th. Thats when I called David and told him to catch a flight out as soon as he could. He did {what a wonderful guy!} But because mom and grandma were still praying that I would be able to finish my last midterms in physics and organic chemistry (and for the two girls to get over the nasty rota-virus flu) baby Cardin didn't come until his scheduled inducing on April 23rd 2009. I think it is a kinda random thing to ask about the weight and height of the baby. . . what are we comparing here? But anyhow for those interested, he was born 7 lbs. & 14 oz; 21 inches long. For fear that some mothers with far worse delivery experiences would hate me for sharing my delivery stories, lets just say it was "all good" and baby and mom did great!

Grandpa "Smoochie" took the girls out all by himself to the park to take pictures last Sunday afternoon, and how grateful I was to him for taking sometime to spend with his little grand-daughters. I certainly needed the break wrestling three kids all by myself. (I can't wait for David and I to live together again for many reasons, but two extra hands are pretty high up there on the list!) Regardless, here are the fruits of Big Dave's excellent adventure that afternoon!

Motivations.

One day...this will be very enjoyable. Nothing against wanting and using desires to motivate as long as I get were I am going.
I often wonder what motivates me the most and what works better?
A boat, writing a book, saving puppies, nurturing children, caring for the sick, being a good mom or pleasing my special husband. Mind you, I did say special. Interpret that as you may!! We love him.
Meanwhile, back to the heart of the matter, MOTIVATION...do you got it in you? Short spells, long enduring feats or sporatic flirtations with superficial motives. Deep questions...and deep answers.

Happy Birthday Breanna!

Breezy Nanna! So what does Kermit the Frog and Barbie Mariposa have in common? Well they are who I thought you might want to tell you happy birthday, and who Anastasia wanted to tell you happy birthday! Pink is her absolute favorite, and you are her absolute favorite, so she put two and two together! How could you not want a butterfly fairy to tell you Happy Birthday!?! I know that I am often late regarding these things, but I wanted you to know how much I love you. It shouldn't be news to you that I am facinated by you. You are crazy beautiful! You are intelligent, and have amazing ideas! You always make people feel comfortable around you. You are gentle, and funny, well hillarious, and sometimes hormonal like every mysterious woman should be! Yeah for hormones! You enjoy your desserts and sleeping in as much as I do, and Yes, even I think that sometimes you dream of playing Barbie with me again in Port Arthur with the doll house Dad and Brad equipped with an elevator. The furniture that mom made, and the hours of contemplation we spent finding the right outfits for our perfect little dolls. It seems like an entirely different life back then. Look at you now! Catching three meter diameter sea urchins! Save me one! Love ya lots, and Happy Birthday!

Brad Ties the Knot!

Brad and Rach! Congrats! What a party! The dancing, the fortune cookies, and the family! Let the good times roll! It really was a blast seeing you get married. You both were so beautiful in the temple, and I can't wait until we all can be there together for Steve's wedding! You have a standing invitation to crash our crib anytime you would like, we'll even keep the light on for you! And maybe make you breakfast in the morning, although it wont be a 5 course dessert bar, it will be scrumdilliumptious! Here is to the new family!

Happy Birthday Kate!

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Kate! Happy Birthday to you!

Kate, I looked all over for my favorite picture of us.... Remember a quiet Saturday with a certain Rhein boy (I hesitate to mention him now), . . . . who played photographer of us all afternoon in Berg Park? We were like Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn climbing trees, and wading through rivers to take inspirational pictures; and there was one, my absolute favorite of us lying on our backs. I will find it and post it for you later, but my next favorite wasn't hard to get to. (A bride always looks her best on her wedding day!) But I will always remember us like that picture even when we are 100 years old, and wrinkly and gray! Thanks for being you!

Happy Birthday from the bottom of my heart!
Love, Tiff

My cute little family!

I know I have said this before, but isn't my family adorable! I love each and everyone of them!

New York New York!

I really scored when I married David, cause he is da man! (That was for you honey! Whose your daddy?!) David suprised the whole family and treated us to a trip to New York for all our March birthdays and our 5th anniversery! We had a great time! We went to central park, and played with all the other city kids, and to Jones Beach on Long Island to play on the shore, scope out the ocean, and pick up a few shells for our collection at home. The girls loved it, but mom and dad will have to go back to enjoy some of the more sophisticated attractions, a show, a session at the temple, or just china town! We drove by and they still had decorations up from Chinese New Year (or maybe the just leave them up year round) but it was the most incredible place to just look at. I wanted to stop so bad and just walk the streets and take a few million pictures, everything looked so... city authentic. I didn't get a bad from a street vendor, cause it took me an entire day to figure out who was homeless looking for money, and who was selling things. They all look alike to me. But, the last day we were there was St. Patrick's Day (hence the green bows in Ereland's hair) and we decided to head on over to Jersey to see the Statue of Liberty. Anastasia kept calling her "Lady Livery" and chasing the pigeons away most of the time. Ereland was content only when I was stuffing her face full of jellybeans, she was tired of sitting, and it was chilly that day. Most everyone stared at my cute little girls cause they are so adorable, and I am just so content with my cute little family...my girls are precious! David, thanks again for the trip, and the suprise, I love you!
